PROSPERITY — Mid Carolina lost a close, hard fought region contest Tuesday night to Abbeville by the score of 58-52.
Carli Ruff and Alix Green led the way, scoring 16 points apiece.
Jalesa Ruff added nine points, Julie Kinard scored five, Kelsey Bailey scored four and Janezshia Boyd made two points.
The Lady Rebels host Newberry on Friday night in a game that matches two teams with matching 3-1 region records.
Game time is 6 p.m. in Prosperity.
