PROSPERITY — The Mid-Carolina High School student council helped give gifts to children this past Christmas.

The Season of Sharing’s Angel Tree is a tradition for the student body at Mid-Carolina. Student council compiles a list of children who would not have a Merry Christmas.

From there these children are adopted by the student body, faculty, and clubs. This occasion allows them to give back to the community as well as brighten a child’s Christmas.

This year Mid-Carolina High School went above and beyond the call of duty. Never before were there so many needs to fill and 85 children were adopted and a total of 350 gifts were bought and wrapped for this occasion.

Thanks to all who helped to contribute to the Angel Tree. Without your kind contributions, this Christmas would not be bright for many young children in our community.
