WHITMIRE —Mrs. Bessie Vanlue Suber, 94, entered into eternal rest on Dec. 22, 2012, at White Oak Manor in Newberry. She was born in Newberry County, the daughter of the late Willie Vanlue and Bessie T. Vanlue.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Will Suber and son, Edward Vanlue.
Surviving are a devoted grandson, James E. Vanlue of Washington, D.C.; Charles Vanlue of Virginia; three granddaughters, Joeratta (James Sr.) Bennett of Virginia and Michelle (Robert Sr.) Hardin of California and Mary Ann (James) Campbell of Maryland; two sisters, Lucinda Simms and Eula Epps and one brother, Robert Vanlue, all of Whitmire.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday at noon at the New Hope Baptist Church in Whitmire.
Visitation will be held Friday from 3-6 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home in Whitmire.
