Whitmire lit for Christmas

The Whitmire Jaycees held a tree lighting celebration for the Town of Whitmire’s Christmas tree on the night of Nov. 30. The Christmas tree lighting are one of the many events the Jaycees host in town around the Christmas season. At the tree lighting, the Whitmire Community School choir performed. In addition to the tree lighting, the Jaycees also host a Christmas Cheer Fund and the annual Christmas parade.
