PEAK — A body has been found on the Broad River near Peak in Newberry County.
Boaters along the Broad River near Peak discovered a body in the water. Investigators from the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Natural Resources (DNR), SLED and the Newberry County coroner’s office are on the scene. The gender or race of the body or why the body was in that area has not been determined.
