NEWBERRY — The Newberry County Historical and Museum Society will present Eric Williams, a history reenactor, with a presentation on 18th century surgery and the Revolutionary War medical corps.

For 21 years, Williams has presented 18th century surgery and apothecary programs dressed in 18th century style clothing. He also states that 18th century surgery during the Revolutionary War was crucial in giving knowledge and experience to surgeons and medical procedures.

The presentation will be given on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the historical home of Roger Sargent and his wife at 2026 Main St. on the corner of Main and Summer streets in Newberry.

Everyone interested in history is invited and refreshments will be provided.
