The following people were booked into the Newberry County Detention Center. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

S.C. Highway Patrol

Miranda Victoria Wiedemann, 23, was arrested and charged with driving vehicle at greater speed than is reasonable under condition, driving under suspension and failure to return driver’s license after notice of suspension, cancellation or revocation.

Newberry Police

Antoine Keith McGee, 27, 2was arrested and charged with filing a false police report of a misdemeanor violation.

Newberry County Sheriff’s Office

Nathan John Haupt, 32, was arrested and charged with two counts of obtaining prescription drugs, or certain drugs by fraud, deceit,and attempt and conspiracy, general provisions of the drug laws (half the penalty of substantive offense).
