NEWBERRY — Firefighters have responded to three house fires on Thursday.

The first was just after 1:30 a.m. on Adam Teseniar Road. When firefighters arrived on the scene the mobile home flames had consumed the house.

Two people in the house suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation, according to Assistant Friendly Fire Chief Bobby Pollard.

Pollard adds the home was a total loss.

The Friendly, Whitmire and Consolidated fire departments responded to the call along with the Newberry County Rescue Squad.

Early Wednesday afternoon, Newberry City firefighters responded to a house fire on Nance Street.

The cause of all three fires are still under investigation.
