On Sept. 29, the Mid-Carolina High School Army JROTC Battalion performed one of many community support services. Thirty-four cadets were in attendance, ranging from first year cadets to senior cadets who acted as supervisors for this event. The MCHS JROTC Battalion holds three of these events on two miles of S.C. Highway 773 each year. The events provide cadets the opportunity to apply leadership skills and community values to the real world. The JROTC unit has received frequent public recognition and awards for these community services.
