The following people were booked into the Newberry County Detention Center. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

Joshua Stephen Taylor, 24, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

Newberry Police

Kwamane Keenan Lemire, 22, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and trespassing.

Crystal Reni Cooper, 44, was arrested and charged with two counts of obtaining signature or property under false pretenses and swindling.

Adrian Donovan Serina, 25, was arrested and charged with shoplifting.

Steven Alonzo Wilson, 42, was arrested and charged with malicious injury to animals or personal property.

Newberry County Sheriff’s Office

James Lee Spoon, 51, was arrested and charged with first offense sex offender registry giving false information when registering.

Paula Dianne Beach, 36, was arrested and charged with hindering an officer.

Kaylee Ann Purdy, 20, was arrested and charged with public disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering an officer.

Dustin Jarrod Chandler, 19, was arrested and charged with hindering an officer and public disorderly conduct.

James Casey Gregory, 29, was arrested and charged with hindering an officer.

George Eligia Shippy, 21, was arrested and charged with unlawful carrying of pistol, resisting arrest, hindering an officer and public disorderly conduct.

Reginald Wade Mayers, 19, was arrested and charged with public disorderly conduct and hindering an officer.
