WHITMIRE — With just three weeks of football left, Whitmire will head to play St. Joseph’s on Friday night.
The Greenville Catholic school’s football team is 5-2 for the year; while Whitmire is looking for its first win of the season.
But the young Wolverines face another tough challenge.
“St. Joseph’s is a good football team,” said coach Don Addis. “They have the best back that we will see all year. His rushing numbers each week have been off the charts. Hopefully, we can slow him down a little bit. We need to have a good week of practice.”
