NEWBERRY — Lee Andrew Duvall, 79, widower of Peggy Joyce Fields Duvall, died Oct. 6, 2012, at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

Born on Oct. 3, 1933, in Greenwood, he was a a son of the late Adgie and Dollie Davenport Duvall. Mr. Duvall served in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force. He was a member of College Street Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Dollie D. Williamson of Waterloo, and Rita Poeppel of Plymoth, Ind.; a brother, Virgil Duvall of Newberry; grandchildren, Brooke Poeppel, Josi Aull, and Crystal Massey; and a great-grandson, Braydon Massey. He was predeceased by sons, Randall Lee Duvall and Curtis Anthony Duvall; a daughter, Terry Kay Duvall; sisters, Mary Billingsley, Ella Judy, and Virginia Medlock; and a brother, Junior Duvall.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at College Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Memorials may be made to College Street Baptist Church, 3240 College Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
