Born in Laurens County to the late Henderson and Pearl Joiner, she leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters, Mary (William) Bolden of Rock Hill, Geraldine (William) Oliver of Whitmire and Vernessa Brown of Greenville; two sons, Ulysses (Bonnie) Brown of Greenville and Sammy Brown of the home; three sisters, Roxie Vanlue, Doris Epps of Whitmire and L.E. McCurely of Philadelphia, Pa; two brothers, William Joiner Sr. and Elbert Epps of Whitmire; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Love Chapel Holiness Church in Whitmire.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. today.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
