Mid-Carolina Varsity volleyball hosted region rival Newberry Tuesday night.
The Lady Rebels defeated the Lady Bulldogs 3-0.
Match scores for the night were 25-11(MC), 25-19(MC), and 25-16(MC).
Leaders in serving for MC were Ashley Lake who was 10/10, Kelsey Bailey went 18/18 with an ace, and Laken Riddle was 16/16 with two aces.
Leaders in digs for the Rebels were Chelsie Walling with four, Bailey with four and Riddle with three.
Leaders in hitting for Mid-Carolina were Taylor Livingston who was 6/6, Bailey went 6/8 and Walling was 18/20.
Leaders in kill assists were Alix Green with 12 and Lake with 14.
The leader in blocks for Mid-Carolina was Bailey with three.
The Lady Rebels overall record is 7-2 and 3-2 in Region AA-2.
Mid-Carolina will hosted region opponent Ninety-Six on Thursday.
