NEWBERRY — The Newberry Ag Expo is just around the coroner.
The expo will kick off Thursday but those wanting to submit commodities like canned goods, grains, baked items, etc. must do so on Monday and Tuesday.
The items are being taken at the Clemson Extension Office on Wilson Road next to the new Piedmont Tech campus. But due to the paving of the parking lot the office must be entered from the back of the complex.
The expo will feature a dairy show at 6 p.m. Thursday.
A beef show at 6 p.m. on Friday
A goat show at 10 a.m. Saturday and a high school rodeo Saturday evening.
There will be carnival rides on Friday and Saturday and fun games for kids of all ages on Thursday.
Other events will be a local art and tractor exhibit, ag Olympics, food and craft vendors, entertainment, displays and the ag museum will be open.
Parking for the event is free but there is a $5 admission.
All the proceeds will benefit Boys Farm and the Newberry County Career Center FFA.
