On Sept. 6, the Newberry College men’s soccer team once again continued its partnership with the County of Newberry Recreation Department as the annual kick-off clinic was held at the local YMCA .

This kick-off ushered in the eighth year of partnership between the two organizations bringing new and old faces together again.

Coach Barry Slagle along with his current Newberry College players held a clinic for all of the coaches and players of the Newberry County recreational soccer program.

Slagle and the Newberry men’s soccer team are very eager to not only be involved with the Newberry County Recreation Department but to be involved with the whole Newberry community this year.
