Born on March 22, 1940 in Little Mountain, he was a son of the late George Russell and Sara Stone Shealy. Mr. Shealy was the owner of Shealy’s Floor Covering, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Koon Shealy; sons, Jeffrey Steven Shealy of Little Mountain and Bradley Carroll (Cathy) Shealy of Lexington; a daughter, Dana (Jer) Hilton of Lexington; a sister, Roxanne Bedenbaugh of Little Mountain; a brother, Tullie Shealy of Pomaria; grandchildren, Brennan, Jack and Ella Shealy and Sydney Hilton.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today, Feb. 27, 2009 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Fred Suhr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund, PO Box 186, Little Mountain, SC 29075 or to the Little Mountain Rescue Squad, PO Box 8, Little Mountain, SC 29075.
