Pets are like best friends sometimes.
It’s about time your pet was recognized for the uttermost cuteness, don’t you think?
There’s still plenty of time to register your adorable pet in The Newberry Observer’s contest. Your pet could be of any species because the contest is not just for the dogs.
Feel free to submit your cat, donkey, chicken, goat, rabbit, bird, fish or snake or any animal that you consider your pet. Just keep it legal please.
The contest has many dog recipients and there needs to be a bigger diversity.
So if you have a darling and totally embraceable pet that you feel deserves the title of Cutest Pet in the county, then get started, take a picture and register that oh so precious pet.
The steps are simple and you’ll look forward to the next contest from the Observer.
• Start by logging onto www.newberryobserver.com and click the rotating link for Cutest Pets Contest in the upper right hand part of the website.
• Then follow the instructions and log in with your created user name and password or log in using your Facebook user name and password.
It’s that easy. Then tell your friends, family and even people out of the state to vote and keep voting up to five times a day.
Entries will continue through Sept. 29.
Voting will begin Sept. 17 and run through Sept. 30.
Winners will be announced the week of Oct. 1 and the winner will receive a gift from the sponsor, Chapin Pet Lodge.
So, remember to register and then hype it up and your pet may be the Cutest Pet in Newberry County.
