PROSPERITY — Funeral services for Mr. Evans Wise, 74, will be conducted on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Moriah A.M.E. Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Wise passed away on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012. Born in Prosperity, he was the son of the late William Wise and the late Stella Dewalt. He was a member of Mt. Moriah A.M.E. Church.

Mr. Wise was predeceased by his wife, Dottie Lou Gallman Wise and son, Robert C. Wise.

Surviving are daughters, Lucille Wise of Prosperity, Jennifer S. Wise of Saluda, Aretha M. Wise and Pamela Wise both of Prosperity, LaKesha Wise of Newberry; sons, James Gallman, Johnnie B. Wise, Anthony Wise all of Prosperity, George W. Wise (Diane) of Saluda, Arthur L. Wise of Laurens; sisters, Vera Gallman and Lillie Mae Lindsey both of Prosperity; brothers, Henry Toland (Florence) of Little Mountain, David Austin (Christine) of Newberry; an adopted daughter, Tammie Gallman; 26 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, five aunts, two uncles, five sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, other relatives and friends.
