NEWBERRY — Lynn Robertson Alexander, 59, of 4005 College St., and widow of Gordon W. Alexander, died Friday, Aug. 17 in Chapin.
She was born in Newberry and was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Margaret Gosnell Robertson. Mrs. Alexander was an employee of the Kraft Foods Plant in Newberry.
She is survived by a son, Donald W. Alexander of Whitmire; a daughter, Tracy A. Griffith of Newberry; a brother, Mike Robertson of Burlington, N.C.; and two sisters, Kay Melton of Chapin and Shirley Corder of Orangeburg; and four grandchildren, Hunter Alexander, Chase Griffith, Hannah Griffith, and Mark Griffith.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 3 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Whitmire.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday before the service.
