They are man’s best friend and they could become Newberry County’s cutest pet with all the bragging rights to go with this honor.
Last year, The Newberry Observer Cutest Pet Contest received overwhelming attention.
In fact, one group of Mid-Carolina students submitted a photo and hoped to give the prize money to a local animal shelter and the students promise to find a prize pet to enter again in this year’s contest.
The contest kicks off Monday, with submissions also being taken Monday. It continues through Sept. 30.
Voting begins on Monday, Sept. 17, and the contest ends on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 11:59 p.m.
This year’s contest is being sponsored by Chapin Pet Lodge.

You will have to have an email address and log on to the site to be able to submit those adorable pet pictures and vote.
Once the voting starts get all of your friends, relatives and others to vote.
