A Little Mountain woman died on Tuesday after being in a wreck and then hit by another vehicle that wrecked.
Shanna Leigh Bowers, 34, of Little Mountain, had just gotten off work at the industrial park, according to Newberry County Coroner Craig Newton.
During a rain storm on I-26 at the 76 mile marker, the 1999 Ford that Bowers was in wrecked and hit the cables.
Bowers and a second person in the car got out and another vehicle came along and wrecked hitting Bowers.
The wreck occurred just before 8 p.m.
Bowers was pronounced dead at Newberry County Memorial Hospital around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday.
The interstate was blocked for about two hours during the investigation.
