The council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. in executive session to discuss legal matters relating to their lawsuit against fellow councilman and contractor Edgar Baker.
Baker built the old sheriff’s office on Highway 219 and the building was condemned a short time later due to mold and moisture problems.
At 7 p.m. the council will enter into open session.
Council will take a first reading to amend its budget to incorporate state budget cuts of around $700,000 into its current budget.
The council will also accept bids for Phase 1 of the infrastructure at the Mid-Carolina Commerce Park.
The council will take third reading to rezone two acres of land from limited commercial to light industrial.
Council will take first reading to transfer a right-of-way to Denise O’Shields on Scurry Island Road.
County Council meets in the Courthouse Annex on College Street.
