About Austin:
Austin was born in Greenwood to Deacon Wright and Jeanette Austin. He was educated in the Greenwood County school system and is employed by the S.C. Department of Transportation as an industrial maintenance technician.
Austin is a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church in Promised Land. He has served as an assistant superintendent, a male choir member, the secretary of Little River Missionary Association and the youth ministry.
As he grew in grace, the power of God’s anointing fell upon him to fulfil his destiny and accept the call of God for his life.
Austin’s pastor, Caldwell, immediately took him under his wing to be guided, nurtured and taught God’s unadulterated word, He was then licensed to preach in March 2001 and in Oct. 2010, he was ordained by the Little River Missionary Baptist Association.
He is married to the former Edwina Leverett who is the daughter of Charles and Ellen Leverett. She is a spirit filled woman of God who is not ashamed to give God the glory. She is a living example oft he Proverbs 31 virtuous woman.
Austin’s favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
The Austin family motto is: Reaching lost souls, no matter where they are.
