Newberry Fire Department Administrative Assistant Lucille Kinard was recognized Tuesday night for her 15 years of service with the City of Newberry. Kinard started working for the city on June 23, 1997. Since she has been honored as the city’s employee of the year. Jeff Shacker, left, presents the service award to Kinard at the July council meeting.
