Grace Glymph has her face painted at the old Pomaria school reunion Saturday afternoon. The face painting was just one way that the Pomaria school committee raised money to save the old school.

Lisa attended the school through third grade and came with some family and friends to enjoy the festivities Saturday.

Pomaria school alumni Ella and Shirley Livingston take a peak inside the old school during the reunion festival Saturday afternoon. Ella Livingston attended through eighth grade and Shirley Livingston attended through third grade. The ladies discovered a map that showed the classrooms with the teachers and this happened to be Bonnelle Yarborough’s classroom. Ella Livingston also says that she was a part of the first integration at the school.

Betty Richardson and JoAnn Richardson take a tour through the old Pomaria school Saturday at the reunion. Here they see some boards that were saved in which students drew a picture and their name for certain years. Betty Richardson attended through eighth grade while JoAnn Richardson attended through 11th grade.
