Main Street between Caldwell and Nance streets was closed earlier this week due to city boring primary electric from Friend Street, down McKibben, to the Community Hall grounds. The work will allow the capacity needed to meet the growing electrical demands of Oktoberfest vendors, the needs of other special events in the future, and to eventually running underground electric up both sides of Main Street.
