Rick Alviti is Elvis and he’s back in Newberry on Saturday at 8 p.m.

Alviti perfected his skills as a live performer at his own venue named Celebrity Theatre in Myrtle Beach.

His admiration for the King is apparent to all that have seen him. His all-Elvis, Las Vegas-style tribute titled “That’s the Way it Was” played six nights a week for several years.

Alviti and the talented Rick Alviti Showband have taken this tribute show on the road and now travel across the country to bring this act to a wider audience.

Alviti has performed all over the country and in many parts of the world – from the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas to the Turning Stone Casino in New York, and even in Malaysia for the Prime Minister.

Alviti brings the passion, commitment and professionalism gained from his years as an actor/entertainer while living in Los Angeles.

Although Alviti is truly a master at performing for a live audience, these skills have been enhanced by his other appearances in movie roles, on radio shows and television performances such as ER with George Clooney and One Tree Hill.
