SILVERSTREET — Jerry Wayne Green, 63, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Palmetto Health Richland.

Born on April 11, 1949, in Charleston, he was a son of Richard Carl Levister and Rebecca Morris Levister Blue. He was an Army veteran, the former owner of several collision repair centers in Florida and was employed with Indian River Transport Company.

He is survived by his fiance, Lillian Sasser; a son, Christopher Green; a daughter, Sandra Ann Green; brothers, Johnny Levister and Joey Levister; a sister, Rebecca Ann Levister Anglin; 13 nieces and nephews including a special niece, Jeanie Ann Langston.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, May 6, 2012, at 2 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Helen Beebe, 171 Tailers Trail, Leesville, SC 29070.
