NEWBERRY - James Richard “Ricky” Cain, 56, died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at his residence.

Born on May 26, 1955, in Newberry, he was a son of Mabel Lindler Cain and the late William F. Cain. He was an employee of Danny Riley’s Garage and a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church.

He is survived in addition to his mother by a son, Christopher James (Kayla) Cain of Whitmire; a daughter, Tammy Michelle (Timothy) Taylor of Whitmire; a sister, Judy Fowler of Prosperity; brothers, Freddie Cain of Prosperity and Thomas Cain of Newberry and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Kaye C. Lominick and a brother, Francis L. Cain.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Fred Buchanan. Memorials may be made to Lebanon United Methodist Church, 1401 Milligan St., Newberry, SC 29108.
