The Newberry Opera House Guild will host a Denims and Diamonds themed party on Friday, May 4.

The public is invited to participate in this fundraiser which will be held at the Friend Building (901 Friend St.) in downtown Newberry from 7 - 11 pm.

Music will be provided by the popular band, Caesar and the Sugar Bees, and the event will also feature Fishing for Diamonds provided by Turner’s Jewelers. Attendees will have the opportunity to win a diamond.

Members of the Newberry Opera Guild’s Events Committee have been hard at work planning the event.

“We hope that the community will take this opportunity to join us in supporting the Newberry Opera House and the Opera House Guild. The party is sure to be an exciting evening full of fellowship, dancing, culinary delights and the opportunity to win a diamond from Turner’s Jewelers,” said Newberry Opera Guild Committee Co-Chair Christy Pomeroy.

Tickets are $35 each and include entertainment, food and drinks.
