“Just after 9 a.m. (Friday), officers from the Newberry County Sheriff's Office, Newberry Police Department, Whitmire Police Department, and State Law Enforcement Division began serving arrest warrants on the 24 suspects for their involvement with illegal drugs,“ said Sheriff Lee Foster. “By lunch, 16 of those offenders were already in custody with officers searching for more. “
By this morning, 21 of the 24 were cuffed.
