J. A. “JIMMY” KYZER

ORANGEBURG - James Alexander “Jimmy” Kyzer, 71, of at 2130 Hoffman Drive, Orangeburg, died Tuesday Oct. 14, 2008.

Mr. Kyzer was born in Newberry, a son of late E. B. Kyzer and Catherine Shealy Kyzer. He was a graduate of Newberry High School. Mr. Kyzer was retired from Still Walter Tool Company. He was a member of Orangeburg Lutheran Church. Mr. Kyzer was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was predeceased by son, Michael Kyzer, and daughter, Lisa Kyzer.

Surviving are his wife, Annette Moore Kyzer of the home; daughter, Leigh K. (Walt) McConnell of Lake Wylle; brothers, Eddie (Joan) Kyzer of Newberry and Larry (Vicky) Kyzer and of Orangeburg; and two granddaughters, Allie McConnell and Ann Mason McConnell of Lake Wylie.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Oct. 17, 2008 at Orangeburg Lutheran Church with Rev. Garry White officiating. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens at 4:45 p.m.

Family received friends yesterday at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home. At other times, friends may call at the residence.
