COLUMBIA - Funeral services for Mrs. Debra Jean Glymph of 1000 Mandel Drive, Columbia, will be conducted at 12 noon on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at First Nazareth Baptist Church in Columbia. Viewing will begin one hour prior to the sevice. Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Glymph, daughter of the late Mr. Henry Williams and the late Mrs. Ruby Hare Williams, died Sunday at Lexington Medical Center. She was born in Newberry.
She was a member of First Nazareth Baptist Church in Columbia. She was employed by South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control as Motor Vehicle Manager and also served as a Defensive Driving Instructor and had 19 years of service.
Those who celebrate her life and cherish loving and precious memories include her devoted husband, Jerome; a loving and devoted son, Christopher J. Glymph of the home; one brother, Mr. Henry J. Williams (Annie) of Chesapeake, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Young, Mrs. Annie B. Wicker (Allen) both of Newberry; Mrs. Addie M. Wicker (Rev. Cecil) of Chesapeake, Va.; a nephew raised in the home, Mr. Raymond E. Williams; father-in-law, Mr. Adam Glymph Jr., mother-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Gray Geter, both of Newberry; four sisters-in-law, Debbie Young, Tracey Cannon both of Newberry; Jewel Pitts (Tony) of Prosperity; Janice Ruff of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one uncle, 10 aunts and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
