Newberry High School's baseball team has gone 3-0 so far in this week's Sandlapper spring break baseball tournament.

On Tuesday the Bulldogs took a 9-8 loss against rival Clinton. The Red Devils are the only team to remain unbeaten in the tournament.

The ‘Dogs were also defeated yesterday by Heathwood Hall in a 10-3 contest.

Despite a homer by catcher Korey Ahrens, the Bulldogs lost a 10 -2 contest with Ben Lippen on Monday.

Tyrus Sims and Eric Little both went 2 for 3 in hits.

Taking the loss on the pitching mound was Will Senn.

Newberry will face Ben Lippen again today in a 12:30 p.m. contest.
