Born in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Duane Donel and Blanche Addison Darby. She was retired from Kendall Company, and was a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her niece, Delle Denton of Charlotte; her nephew, Dewey Darby of Brunswick, Ga.; her great-niece, Kayce Morris of Ninety Six; her sisters-in-law, Mable Darby of Newberry and Merle Kinney of Florida. She was predeceased by brothers: James, Derrell, Everette and Ray Darby.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Walter Green. Memorials may be made to Lewis United Methodist Church, 1105 First St., Newberry, SC 29108.
