NEWBERRY - Early Felder Wise, 82, of Newberry, widower of Frances Berry Wise, died Jan. 27, 2008, at Dorn VA Medical Center.
Born in Cayce, he was a son of the late Felder W. and Earlie Mae Caraway Wise. He was a Navy veteran and a member of the Newberry Country Club.
Surviving are his daughter, Pamela W. (Charles) Herring of Winston-Salem, N.C.; a sister, Thelma Shearer of Gaston; a brother, Hershal Wise of West Columbia; and grandchildren, Matthew Johnston and Sarah Ellen Johnston, both of Charleston.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Ray Ridgeway. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
