WHITMIRE - Horace H. Drew, 84, of 6151 Whitmire Hwy. died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Drew was born in Mullins and retired after 30 years with the U.S. Forest Service. He was a life time member of the Roseboro Masonic Lodge # 195, was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Muriel T. Drew of the home; a son, Charles Drew Sr. of Whitmire; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda Drew Stewart and husband, Wayne of Whitmire; two grandsons, Charles Drew Jr. and his wife, Tammy and Michael Shane Drew; a great granddaughter, Nicole Drew; four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Whitmire with interment in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
