PROSPERITY - Virginia Francis Vines, of Prosperity, wife of Jack V. Vines and widow of K.K. Francis, died on the evening of Friday, Sept. 28, 2007. Her graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Mrs. Vines was born in Jersey, Ark. on July 12, 1935, the daughter of John Fletcher and Dolly Sinclair Smith. She was an Episcopalian.
She is survived by her husband, Jack V. Vines of Prosperity; two daughters, Tammy F. and husband John McNeely of York and Linda F. and husband Tommy Cousins of Prosperity; and three grandchildren, Scott Michael, Kimberly Devin and Mary Catherine McNeely, all of York. Mrs. Vines was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert G. Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are by J. Henry Stuhr, Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road.
