POMARIA — Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Ann Livingston affectionately known as “Ann”, age 59, will be conducted today at 2 p.m. at St. James A.M.E. Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Livingston departed this earthly life and entered into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital, Columbia. Born in Little Mountain, she was the daughter of the late Tommie Williams and the late Bettie Lee Boyd Williams.
Mrs. Livingston was a member of St. James A.M.E. Church where she was a member of the gospel choir. She was also a member of Women’s Home Aide Society #34. Mrs. Livingston was employed many years as head dietician at Lowman Home in White Rock and White Oak Manor in Newberry.
Mrs. Livingston was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Williams.
Surviving are her husband, James Gilbert Livingston; one son, James Anthony Livingston both of the home; one daughter, Tracy Michelle Livingston of Columbia; two sisters, Yolanda Ruth (Freddie) Brown and Beatrice Mayers all of Newberry; eight brothers, Anthony (Shirley) Williams; Andrew (Valencia) Williams; James Curtis (Wilma) Williams all of Chapin; Thomas (Glentonia) Williams; Charlie (Gwen) Williams all of Newberry; Olin (Judy) Williams of Prosperity; Johnnie (Gail) Williams of Irmo; Bennie (Vennie) Dreher of Annapolis, Md.; five grandchildren, Dominique, Jy’Keam, Tra’Miyah, D’Miyah, and Skylar Livingston; mother-in-law, Inez R. Livingston of Pomaria; three aunts, Mildred Wicker of New York, N.Y.; Pearline Boyd of Chicago, Ill.; Rosa Wright of Newberry; one uncle, Rev. Alonzo Stephens of Prosperity; five sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will sadly miss her.
