A picture is worth a thousand words.
In The Newberry Observer’s first ever Cutest Kid Contest, a picture just may win you many words to brag to people about your kid’s cuteness.
Now is the time for parents to kick up their bragging rights and enter their children in The Observer’s Cutest Kids Contest.
We know pictures are swimming around the house detailing the utmost cuteness of your children and with cameras on every cell phone these days, taking a picture and uploading it online is easier than ever.
The online contest is free and all you need to do is go online to www.newberryobserver.com and click on the Cutest Kids link on the homepage underneath top stories and register and submit.
It really is that simple.
The contest started Friday and then voting begins at midnight on June 1 and ends at 5 p.m. on June 15.
Parents or guardians may continue to submit picture through 5 p.m. on June 15.
People may submit pictures of their children from birth until 12 years and the age groups are divided into newborn (0-12 months), toddler (12-24 months), two to four years, four to six years, six to nine years and nine to 12 years of age.
Parents or guardians may enter pictures of their children and they may enter more than one picture but the child cannot win twice.
Voting will be just like of The Observer’s popular Cutest Pet Contest last year and anyone with Internet access can vote online after they register with a valid email address.
This is the first time for the cutest kid contest and there are two sponsors involved.
Stokes-Trainor and Lindsay Furniture are helping to sponsor the interactive contest about the fun and happy kids of Newberry County.
So stop waiting around and dig through pictures or take a fresh one and submit online. Who knows, others may think your kid absolutely the most precious kid.
