The Rev. Brian Preston officiated the ceremony while the parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Ann) Upton gave away the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Ann) Upton of Greer and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie (Susie) Amick of Prosperity. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rickey (Betsy) Chapman of Newberry.
Miss Dixie Amick, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. The flower girl was Miss Brantlee Roche, niece of the bride. The ringbearer was Brady Chapman, cousin of the groom.
Mr. Rickey Chapman, father of the groom, was the best man. Ushers in the wedding included Mr. Jamie Morris, Mr. Steve Satterwhite, Mr. T.J. Senn, Mr. Seth Chapman, Mr. Josh Chapman and Mr. Wesley Bouknight.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Harriet Kesler, organist, and Jillian Preston, soloist.
The reception was held at Clinton House Plantation with music and entertainment provided by DJ Nick Brown.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Mid-Carolina High School and attended USC in Columbia. She is a 2007 graduate of Piedmont Technical College with a practical nurse diploma. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Newberry Academy and a 2000 graduate of Horry Georgetown Technical College with an Associate in Science in Forest Resource Management. He is also a 2003 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resource Management. He is co-owner of Chapman Timber in Newberry.
Following a honey to Pigeon Forge, TN, the couple now resides in Newberry.
