PROSPERITY — The Rebels will host region opponent Fairfield Central tonight for the conclusion of their 2015 campaign.

Currently sitting at 4-5, the Rebels will be looking to notch one last win and receive a better position in the upcoming playoffs.

Fairfield Central, however, is no slouch. In addition to being undefeated in the region, the Griffins are one of only two teams to best the Newberry Bulldogs this season.

“They’re very talented,” said Mid-Carolina head coach Louis Alexander.

He said his team performed very well in Monday’s practice, and got some film work in on Tuesday.

“We’re going to do what we do,” Alexander said of his offensive strategy. “When we’ve run it, we’ve been pretty good.”

His goal is to establish a balance between running and passing, and simply try to keep the ball away from the Griffins as much as possible.

Mid-Carolina will find out who they play in the first round of the playoffs next week.

Kick off is at 7:30 p.m.
