ELGIN — Johana Lunackova and Nabila Inak both tied for 14th at the Newberry Invitational to close out the fall season. The standings were Lunackova and Inak’s best finishes of the season. Each scored 14 over par for a two-round score of 158.

Lunackova had 20 pars and recorded two birdies, while Inak notched 19 pars and three birdies.

Newberry did not climb in the rankings and earned the seventh-place spot in the eight-team tournament. The Wolves were 83 over par for a total of 659.

Florida Southern nabbed the top spot with a team score of 611. Runner-up Wingate finished six strokes behind them Anderson came in third. North Georgia and Lincoln Memorial rounded out the top five. Wingate’s Diana McDonald won the individual with a two-round score of 148.

Aubrey Guyton took sole possession of the 23rd spot with a 20 over par score of 164. She posted three birdies during the second round of competition.

Brette Bryant rounded out the roster tied for 36th.
