NEWBERRY — The Newberry College volleyball team will host its inaugural team golf fundraiser on July 10 at the Wild Dunes Harbor Course on Isle of Palms.
The day’s festivities will kick off with a putting contest at 8 a.m. before a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Following 18 holes of golf, the festivities will shift to The Windjammer Beach Club for a beach volleyball exposition, a barbecue buffet, and a silent auction.
Prizes will be awarded to the first-, second-, and third-place foursomes along with contests for putting, long drive, and closest to the pin.
Foursomes can register as a team for $500. Individuals can also register for $125. Businesses are invited to choose between several sponsorship packages.
