NEWBERRY COUNTY — The Clinton-Laurens-Newberry Tennis Association held its annual mixed doubles round robin tournament on Aug. 27 at Laurens City Park.
Seventeen players from eight different cities and towns participated. The participants donated $180 to our tax-exempt organization.
In the women’s division, Susie Madden of Laurens won first place and Lynda Mills of Clinton was second. In the men’s division, first place went to Billy Davis, second place went to Ricky Rumfelt and third place went to Bob Shapiro. All three are from Laurens.
