WHITMIRE — Whitmire Community School’s Wolverines will meet Dixie High School’s Hornets in the team’s last away game of the regular season.The Wolverines hold a 3-5 overall record, and a 0-3 record in the region. The Hornets have a 4-4 overall record and a 3-1 record in the region.According to Coach Charlie Jenkins, the Hornets use a run first offense, similar to the Wolverines.“Will be a slug fest in the trenches,” Jenkins said.According to Jenkins, the roster size of the last three teams the Wolverines have played has been an issue.
