City officials contemplating sidewalk cafe ordinance
NEWBERRY — The Newberry City Council and city boards are working to create an ordinance that would allow sidewalk cafes in downtown. NEWBERRY — The City of Newberry Water Treatment Facility on the Saluda River will be getting an upgrade. The work is currently in the development phase with engineering reports being done, but the plan is to install an additional water storage tank, rehabilitate the current plant and build an electric substation.
