3rd, 4th graders learn at Saluda Shoals
NEWBERRY — The third- and fourth-graders of Newberry Academy went to Saluda Shoals Park and Environmental Center on March 13.
The students began their day by exploring the area on a hike. The students then collected specimens of water creatures and insects from the wetlands with nets. The students were also allowed to identify their specimens using microscopes in the outside laboratory at the Environmental Center.
