Congratulations to the Mid-Carolina High School students who attended Solo and Ensemble Festival on Feb. 17. The large ensemble sang two selections from memory and received a rating of superior. The small ensemble, the freshmen ensemble, performed one song and received a rating of excellent plus.

NEWBERRY — A third arrest was made Thursday related to the bomb threat at Newberry High School. A 16-year-old male was charged Thursday with Conveying a Bomb Threat and was transported to the S.C. Spec building financing ordinance passes final reading
NEWBERRY — Newberry County Council had third and final reading Wednesday night on the financing of the speculation building.
